The Solar Empire's navy is far superior too all, but the Askovion Unions. Ships such as ENS Black Eagle and ENS Raven, where so large and there firepower so enormous that there rarely where actual battles. Other times SWOMD's like The Varez would terrorize the enemies into submission. Even so Askovion ships traveled far into Empire territory, and in 4209 three Askovion ships, ASS Darkseaker, ASS Aladin and ASS Arven launched an attack on Calidor, the Empires capital. Though unsuccsesful, the attack killed an aprox 50,000 soldiers and 12,000 civilains. This eventually led too the tightening of security and increasing of the number of naval ships in The Deep core
